Why Choose Us?
Being highly qualified, experienced and accredited means being able to help you understand your specific breed of dog, and give advice on health, behaviour related or dietary issues that may arise. As your dog is unique, you will receive help with canine behaviour issues to create a well-mannered, well adjusted family pet; with whom you can build a bond based on trust and respect. Using reward-based positive training methods, you will also learn how to implement and maintain any necessary changes. Clients have confidence in us and we achieve results.
Our puppy classes are educational for puppies, their owners and families. Puppies socialise with each other and are taught basic obedience skills to prevent possible canine behaviour issues occurring later on. Not only that, they are fun!
Dogs that come to stay at Paws Palace for home boarding are never reluctant to come inside, indeed some even sprint inside without even looking back at their owners! Clients feel at ease leaving their dogs with us knowing they will be treated as part of the family. My background as a veterinary nurse is an added bonus to you as clients, as you can be completely assured of your dog’s health and wellbeing throughout it’s stay. Your dog will enjoy lovely countryside walks with fields, woods and even rivers. On hot days, there is a paddling pool out and a nearby stream for evening paddles Your dog will go home happy, having had lots of fun on their very own holiday.
If it’s dog walking you require, our “sniffarris” are the answer! Dogs accumulate knowledge about the world around them through their noses ,and have a sense of smell up to 100,000 times more acute than humans, due to having more scent receptors. Indeed, research says that dogs who are not allowed adequate “sniffarri” opportunities may experience sensory deprivation and stress. Our “sniffarris” will mentally and physically stimulate your dog, decrease their heart rate and stress levels, and ultimately improve their behaviour.
